Our Color Beaded Urchin Chandelier 20" is a colorful starburst chandelier that goes off like a supernova and stays that way.
It starts with a CNC-machined aluminum core and 316 individually threaded solid brass spines, then we add the beads (by hand, of course), all powder coated in-house, for a 20" burst of brass and color. Pick from one of our 14 colors for the beads. Match your palette for color-coordination, or a custom color for a truly unique design. Hang it over a dining table, in a foyer, or in a playroom that wants something bolder than a basic dome, or in boutique hotel lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, and any space that demands drama. Tall ceilings? Hanging heights run from 17" to 35" with the included extension rods, and custom heights are available on request. Each fixture is made to order in our Minneapolis studio.
Our customers don’t call it “the urchin.” They call it “my urchin.”

"It took us 2 years to replace a mid century ceiling light in our office until I came upon the Dutton Brown site. I was so lucky to find them. They had several we loved but we chose the color beaded flush mount as it was the perfect size and we were able to choose the color for the beads. Simply amazing. Packaged carefully with boxed instructions. Our electrician installed it in 10 minutes. We adore it. Thank you!!!"
